Should smokers be given free health care?
This is our debate topic, and I think smokers should be given free health care, but i can't think of any good points to back it up S I've got a few points but I don't feel any of them are solid arguments. All I need is one excellent point, which is harder than it sounds Do you guys think of any good points? Im a college student, over 21 but under 65, are there any free health care programs in NYS that i qualify for?
I can't find a job due to my going back to school in the fall, let alone one that has health care or pays well enough for me to get private health care. I need to find out if there is anything I qualify for in New York State, because I need dental work, glasses, and im pretty sure i have ADD... anyone help?
Friend overuses free health care?
I'm in Canada. Free health care. But my friend who moved here from pakistan is ALWAYS using our health care system for everything. she gets things done that I have never even heard of. she gets a massage about once a week at least, she goes to the dentist about every 2 or 3 months, she gets blood work done constantly, etc. all of this is paid for by the government or her employer. she doesn't have any medical issues. maybe a couple of allergies.anyway, today she went and got a CT scan done because she had like a sniffle or something. also, she gets complete full body physicals every couple of months. she's only 25 or something. not to mention, she regularly consults a nutritionist, probably every 3 weeks. I could go on and on, but basically she uses every service possible to the MAX. she's not even a citizen. we have to pay for everything with our tax dollars.what are your thoughts?

Health care that is provided for people that cant afford it. Im a student and just started working and only make about 200 dollars a week. Free health care for mother living with us in Iowa?
We are moving to Iowa and need to find free health care for my mother in law.She had Medi Cal in California since she was living on her own and can't work. She has rheumatoid arthritis. Once we move to Iowa she will be living with us but we are not able to afford medical insurance for the whole family even without her on the plan. Are we able to get her free medical insurance? Her Humira medicine is very costly. I know that for Medicaid you need to be over 65, but she's only 62. Does anyone know what we can do?That's right...I had them mixed up. But for medicaid you have to be on your own with monetary help. But she'll be living with us. We will be above the poverty line but not so much that we can afford insurance for everyone...
